The Sarees of India is a heartfelt venture started by Shivani and Ankur. Shivani has always been captivated by the grace of sarees, as she watched her mother wear one every day.
As ardent Indophiles, both our founders always dreamt of creating something that not only celebrates Indian culture but also becomes a storyteller of our centuries-old heritage. This passion and her in-born creative streak led Shivani to leave her two-decades long corporate career and start TSOI with her husband, Ankur, a successful Architect and Interior Designer. With design being his core competency, he too has a keen eye for handpicking the most unique designs from across India.

TSOI is a labour of love from our founders, which is why they call it their ‘Ansh’ (initials of the Founders). Every saree at TSOI is handpicked by Shivani and Ankur. Their careful choice of color, design, weave and fabric reflects their vision.
